Driving Tuition and Assessment Service
IWA has been providing a driving tuition service for drivers with disabilities since the 1960s. Our experienced professional driving instructors provide tuition to drivers with a diverse range of conditions and or disabilities. The service is aimed at people who wish to learn to drive and people who are returning to drive.
Our Driving Tuition Service operates a number of driving school cars nationwide. The driving school cars are strategically located to facilitate maximum access to the service. To find the nearest driving school to you contact the National Mobility Centre, contact details below.
Each vehicle in the training school fleet is automatic and fitted with a variety of adaptations to facilitate a broad spectrum of conditions and or disabilities. In the promotion of independence and safety, all pupils prior to receiving a driving lesson are assessed by an occupational therapist and a driving instructor. IWA Driving & Assessment service additionally offers pupils the option of an intense week long driving residential course based in IWA Cuisle centre, Roscommon. Contact details:
