Hear Your Voice, by Registering Your Vote!

Hear Your Voice, by Registering Your Vote!

SpunOut.ie and the Union of Students Ireland are teaming up to hold the first ever National Voter Registration Day on the 30th of October 2014.

On this day, they are trying to register as many 18 to 25 year olds as possible on the voting register as 2015 will be a big year for referendums with marriage equality, reducing the voting age, blasphemy and others.

We want to encourage our young people to get out and make a difference. You can help to do that with just a small bit of your time by getting people registered to vote in your homes, work places, colleges and communities.

If you would like to volunteer some of your time Sign Up Now.

·         Voting is the most important way to make your voice heard on the issues that concern you.

·         Voting gives you an opportunity to be part of decision-making that affects your life.

·         If YOU don’t Vote Others will make the decisions for YOU!

·         Decisions are made on your behalf everyday, healthcare, education, housing, global issues like defence and environment and local issues like bins and leisure facilities.
